HS Girls 
Coach Audie Burns brings 11 years of coaching experience and is entering his fifth season with the DFW Hawks AAU program. A Fort Worth native and FWISD alum, he focuses on developing athletes mentally, physically, and emotionally while building discipline, confidence, and strong character. Coach Burns has helped over 15 players advance to the next level and is committed to helping every athlete grow on and off the court.

8th Boys Coach
As a collegiate basketball player, Coach KB played at both Collin County Community College and Hardin-Simmons University where he was the starting point guard.  After college, he played semi-professional basketball and even worked out with the Dallas Mavericks.

As a coach, Coach KB has 25+ years of coaching experience, including coaching at the collegiate level. From 2013-2019, Coach KB coached the Abilene Christian Schools’ middle school and high school boys. He returned to ACS in 2021 and is currently the head coach of boys basketball. In his time at ACS, Coach KB has won several district championships, 1 state championship, 1 state runner up title, 2 state semi-finalist titles, 2 regional finalists titles, and earned several trips to the playoffs.  In 2014, he was named Big Country Coach of the Year.  In 2019, he took over the girls basketball program at Roby High School and he took his team to the UIL state playoffs both years he was there, earning one Bi-District Championship.

“Coach Griggs is an enthusiastic and experienced basketball coach with a passion for developing athletes and fostering a positive team culture. Coach Griggs has ed teams to multiple playoff appearances while demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to maximize the potential in each player. He is committed to the success and growth of players both on and off the court,” the school stated.

After 10 years as OD Wyatt Head Girls BB Coach and 9 consecutive trips to the playoffs, Coach Darrell Griggs is now our Head Boys Basketball Coach!!!!
